The Project

Reinventing the chase.

Need Pursuit is a project built to develop and reinvent the car chase concept - starting with events and competitions, then expanding into broadcast and entertainment, a dedicated video game and, ultimately, a real-world motorsport built around the same principles.

01 - The starting point

Current car chases are too limited.

Car chases are often reduced to simple city roads connected by intersections. That format can work, but it leaves too much potential unexplored and too little room for real variety, decision-making and spectacular evasive driving.

Too predictableRoutes and outcomes are often easy to read.
Too narrowNot enough space variety for different chase styles.
Too shallowLimited surfaces, limited grip changes and limited strategy.

02 - What makes it work

Reimagine the environment.

The Battersea area from Dirt 3 is a strong reference: tight and open spaces, different grip levels, elevation changes and multiple possible paths. This creates unpredictability, makes dodges more impressive and gives every decision more strategic value.

Tight + open areasMore chase variety
Multiple surfacesMore grip and stability changes
Elevation + route optionsMore depth and unpredictability

03 - Scenarios

Different modes create different chases.

The environment matters, but the scenario matters just as much. Need Pursuit is built around chase formats that create distinct pressures, objectives and driving behaviours.

Outbreak Survive the infected. Survivors fight the clock and carefully manage routes to avoid contact. Every touch reduces the number of survivors and increases pressure.
Most Wanted One driver against the pack. The flag holder becomes the target. The challenge is to escape the group while staying efficient enough to keep gaining time.
Transporter Steal, dodge, deliver. Players fight for the flag, protect possession and score at a drop zone - making routes more predictable, but still highly tactical.
04 - Ambitions

Build a platform around the concept.

Need Pursuit has several ambitions, but they are not all at the same distance. The project can grow in stages: first through events and competition, then through broadcast and entertainment, then through a dedicated video game, and finally through a longer-term real-world motorsport ambition.

01
Events and competitionsOnline tournaments, LAN events and future physical events built around the chase concept and its competitive potential.
02
Broadcast and entertainmentA production format that shows the action from the best angles and turns the adrenaline of the chase into a real show.
03
Dedicated video gameA chase-first game with rankings, events, free-to-play access, regular updates, cosmetics and long-term relevance.
04
Future real-world motorsportA longer-term ambition: a new chase-based motorsport with dynamic arenas and vehicles built to handle moderate impacts.
05 - The next step

Prove the audience, then scale the project.

The potential already exists. Chase-focused modes have retained dedicated players despite usually being treated as side features with limited long-term support. The next step is to turn that interest into measurable participation, engagement and audience growth.

A signal already existsThe persistent Dirt 3 community and the recurring appearance of similar modes in other games show that the concept can attract and retain players.
Turn interest into proofContent, events, competitions, rankings and community activity can provide measurable evidence of demand before the most expensive ambitions are developed.
What matters nowShow how many people are willing to watch, play, participate and support the project. A proven audience is what can unlock stronger partners and future investment.
